Affiliate marketing essentially pays you a finder’s-fee to bring new clients to a business. So you might get paid a certain amount for each visit (“pay per click”), for each person who registers (“pay per lead”), or for each customer or sale (“pay per sale”).

Amazon.com is a good example. Anyone with a website can join Amazon.com’s affiliate program. HyperVRE is very powerful in terms of time-saving features and ease of use, but it’s weak in many areas–most notably, website design. The software includes several different layouts for potential websites. None of them are visually appealing. And unless you know HTML, you’ll be stuck with a below-average, unprofessional-looking website.

Hosting is another issue. Yes, the HyperVRE software is free and you can create 100 different websites–all free. But your free websites will be stuck on your computer’s hard drive until you actually pay for hosting. This is where the cost can get you.
